Things to See
If you ever visit this fascinating park you will be astonished by all of the amazing things that you can see. Beautiful landforms will take you breath away such as massive glaciers, rolling meadows, Douglas-fir forests, elegant waterfalls, fresh water lakes, and jagged snow covered peaks. For example, Lake Chelan is the most popular sighing at the park because of its clear blue waters and various activity options. There is a wide variety of animals and plants that live in the park. Mammals like the gray wolf, fisher, wolverine, Columbian black-tailed deer, Douglas squirrel, and grizzly bear wander the wilderness. But these are only a few compared to the seventy five other mammal species. About twenty one different species of reptiles and amphibians, over two hundred kinds of birds, approximately five hundred types of insects, and nearly two hundred fifty invertebrate species have made National Parks their home. Ferns, grasses, lichens, trees, shrubs, and wildflowers are the six main kinds of group that the millions of plants are put into.
